Criminal Behaviour Order Issued

A male in his fifties plead guilty today, the 20th February 2026, at Westminster Magistrates Court to 17 offences of theft. The male had repeatedly targeted Boots and Holland and Barrett stores across Hammersmith and Fulham and Kensington and Chelsea, resulting in nearly £5000 worth of stock stolen.

A Criminal Behaviour Order has been issued by the court prohibiting him from entering any Boots or Holland and Barrett within London for the next five years. Following the guilty plea he currently remains remanded in custody and will be sentenced next month.

This result was achieved by local officers working on Operation Borgio, an operation that targets prolific shoplifters and in turn seeks to reassure businesses across the borough that the Metropolitan Police are tackling retail crime.
